What Will Be Your Responsibilities:

• ·       Develops, maintains and implements information security policies, procedures and instructions.
• ·       Ensures that policies are aligned with industry best practices and regulations.
• ·       Conducts regular risk assessments of IT systems, applications to identify and assess security risks, compliance gaps, and vulnerabilities.
• ·       Investigates irregularities and non-compliance issues and highlights or escalates areas of concern.
• ·       Develops risk mitigation strategies and assists in the implementation of risk reduction initiatives.
• ·       Ensures the compliance with all applicable standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • ·       Supports internal and external audits related to IT risk and compliance.
  • ·       Performs security checks and proposes an action plan for each security check based on the scale of impact/control assessment.
  • ·       Manages the IT disaster recovery plan, including making updates, changes, assessing the business impact, and periodically testing the plan.
  • Collaborates with IT teams, legal, and compliance departments to ensure comprehensive and cohesive risk management strategies. Provides regular updates to management regarding compliance efforts, risks, and progress towards remediation.

• Education: Student in their final year or a master’s student

• Skills:

Understanding of IT security technologies and frameworks.

Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and compliance standards.
