Instructions for authors

Instructions concern all the persons participating at the conference including accompanying persons. The organization of the conference will be done through this web site and e-mail communication.

The corresponding author of each accepted paper should submit the final version through Easychair (using proceedings author role) before April 4, 2022. You must follow the next steps for the final submission:

Instructions:

1. Use IEEE templates (format A4) for your paper: IEEE templates. Maximum eight pages A4 in double column format are allowed; however, each page in excess of six will incur a charge of 25 Euros.
2. Insert the copyright notice in the footnote of the first page of your source document, as follows:
   1. For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
   2. For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-6636-3/22/$31.00 ©2022 Crown
   3. For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-6636-3/22/$31.00 ©2022 European Union
   4. For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-6636-3/22/$31.00 ©2022 IEEE
3. Verify your paper on IEEE PDF eXpress, by using the Conference ID 54292X:
   1. Convert your file to pdf. The file can be also converted on IEEE PDF eXpress site, but it takes a lot of time. Free pdf convertors can be used,as: CutePDFWriter, PDFCreator.
   2. Access the IEEE PDF eXpress site: https://ieee-pdf-express.org/
      1. First-time users (without an account on IEEE PDF eXpress site):
         1. Select the “New Users – Click Here” link.
         2. Enter the Conference ID 54292X, your email address and choose a password.
         3. Continue to enter information as prompted.
      2. Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences.
   3. For each conference paper, click “Create New Title”.
   4. Enter identifying text for the paper (title is recommended but not required).
   5. Click “Submit File for Checking or Converting”.
   6. Browse for your file and click “Upload” your file. You will receive an email confirming the successful upload. Click “Continue” to view the current status of the uploaded file.
   7. You will receive an email with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF attached. If you submitted a PDF for Checking, the email will show if your file passed or failed.
   8. If any errors are detected:
      • See the list of the specific problems by using the link “PDF Check report” from your IEEE PDF eXpress page or by reading the attached report from the email.
      • Correct the errors; information on possible solutions can be found by using the link “get solutions” from your IEEE PDF eXpress page.
      • Resubmit the PDF by clicking “Try again” on your IEEE PDF eXpress page.
      • Repeat the above procedure until all errors are solved.
   9. If no error is detected, download the attachment of the passed email from IEEE PDF eXpress. This is the final version of your paper that you have to upload to the Easychair system. It is mandatory to not make any changes on the file built by IEEE PDF eXpress. More detailed instructions on PDF eXpress checking can be found at https://ieee-pdf-express.org/External/UsingIEEEPDFeXpress.
4. Upload the final version and sign the Electronic IEEE Copyright Transfer Form in Easychair:
   1. Go to Easychair and choose proceedings author role (important!)
   2. Select “Upload new version” and submit your IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF paper.
   3. If necessary, update the paper title and authors. Please make sure that all the authors of the paper are correctly indicated.
   4. Sign the IEEE copyright agreement, following the red button in Easychair (“Sign copyright agreement”). You will be redirected to sign the electronic version of the copyright agreement on the IEEE website.

Accommodation and boarding will be provided directly at the conference venue. Participation at the conference (including accommodation, boarding, refreshments and social evenings) will require payment of the registration fee. The same applies to including your paper in the proceedings.

The proceedings will contain only papers (after positive review) submitted by conference management system EasyChair until deadlines. Registration fee paying participants will get electronic proceedings.

• Title of the lecture in English; author(s), address(es), e-mail.
• Key words (up to 7).
• Text of abstracts (up to 500 words).
• Use the conference management system to upload your abstract: EasyChair.

• Use IEEE templates (format A4) for your full paper: IEEE templates.
• Use the conference management system to upload your paper: EasyChair.
• The length of the paper is 4 to 6 pages.
• Only those papers that are presented at the conference will be published in conference proceedings.

Each paper will be included in the program and in the conference proceedings volume after positive reviewing. The best papers will also be awarded.
