Dear ICSTCC2020 Participants, If you wish to publish an extended version of your paper, you are welcome to forward them to our journal System Theory Control and Computing Journal (STCCJ)

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this edition of ICSTCC will be organized as a virtual conference. Nevertheless the option for live conference remains active and might be taken according to the evolution of the Covid 19 pandemic in Romania and elsewhere.

INSTRUCTION FOR VIRTUAL PRESENTATION

The conference will be held online using the Cisco WebEx platform. The program will be published soon on the website. Each corresponding author will receive via e-mail the links for all sessions of the conference.

For each paper at least one author is expected to connect to the session and perform a live presentation (screen sharing of the presentation and live audio) for no more than 15 minutes followed by a 5 minutes Q&A interval. As backup you must create a maximum 15 minutes audio-video recording with your presentation, in mp4 or mkv format, and upload it to our FTP server. The connection details for this server will be provided via e-mail. The backup video will be played instead of the live presentation if no author can connect to the live session due to technical problems.

Note: all e-mail communication will be between the conference organizers and the corresponding author of each paper using the e-mail address registered in the Papercept platform.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • July 12, 2020: Firm deadline - Submission of papers
  • August 30, 2020: Notification of acceptance for papers and invited sessions
  • September 20, 2020: Final camera ready manuscript and registration payment of at least one of the authors

CONFERENCE PRESENTATION

The Joint Conference is for the seventh time organized in this format. The main goal of this conference is to provide a multidisciplinary forum between researchers from industry and academia to discuss state-of-the-art topics in system theory, control and computing, and to present recent research results and prospects for development in this evolving area.

The ICSTCC conference emerged from the fusion of the four conferences that were separately organized by University of Craiova, Faculty of Automation, Computers and Electronics (SINTES - International Conference on System Theory and Control), "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iasi, Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Engineering (SACCS - International Symposium on Automatic Control and Computer Science), "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, Faculty of Control Systems, Computers, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (SIMSIS - International Symposium on Modelling, Simulation and Identification Systems), CONTI (International Conference on Technical Informatics) organized by the Faculty of Automation and Computers, the Department of Automation and Applied Informatics and the Department of Computers and Information Technology from Politehnica University of Timisoara.

As well as the previous editions, ICSTCC 2020 is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Control Systems Society and the Proceedings will be submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Moreover, the Proceedings of the 2013 and 2015-2018 editions are indexed in Clarivate Analytics Web of Science.

ICSTCC 2020 will feature several kinds of presentations including invited and contributed papers, special sessions and poster sessions. The outcome of ICSTCC 2020 can be a better understanding of some leading research areas, as already System Theory, Control and Computing have demonstrated.
