PAPER/ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Participants can submit two kind of contributions to IFAC SSSC 2019 and IFAC TDS 2019, either an abstract (max. 500 words) or a full paper (6 pages).

Information for abstract submissions (max. 500 words)

  • Abstract submissions should be sent by e-mail to: sssc-tds@automation.ucv.ro
  • Format requirement: (.doc , .docx (MS Word) OR .tex (LaTeX) ) AND .pdf
  • Abstracts should contain the following information:
    • Workshop title: SSSC or TDS
    • Contribution title
    • Authors
    • Authors' affiliation
    • Abstract (max. 500 words)
  • Abstract submissions will NOT be published on IFAC Papers-on-line, but will be included in the conference preprints, memory stick/CD
  • The deadline for the abstract submission is March 31st, 2019
  • Presenters of accepted abstracts must register for the Conference attendance
  • Each presenting author is responsible for his/her registration fee(s) as well as travel and accommodation costs.

CONFERENCE FEES

There will be a single conference registration fee for the SSSC and TDS attendees:

  • €450 for early registration (by July 01, 2019);
  • €500 for regular registration (by August 30, 2019);
  • €550 for late registration (on conference site);
  • The student registration fee will be €225 (July 01, 2019) and €275 after the early registration date.

A participant’s guest attending social events will be charged a student registration fee. The regular registration fee includes sessions access, conference documents and proceedings, coffee breaks, lunches during the conference, banquet, social program.

IFAC Copyright Conditions

All publication material submitted for presentation at an IFAC-sponsored meeting (Congress, Symposium, Conference, Workshop) must be original and hence cannot be already published, nor can it be under review elsewhere. The authors take responsibility for the material that has been submitted. IFAC-sponsored conferences will abide by the highest standard of ethical behavior in the review process as explained on the Elsevier webpage (https://www.elsevier.com/authors/journal-authors/policies-and-ethics), and the authors will abide by the IFAC publication ethics guidelines (http://www.ifac-control.org/events/organizers-guide/PublicationEthicsGuidelines.pdf/view).

Accepted papers that have been presented at an IFAC meeting will be published in the proceedings of the event using the open-access IFAC-PapersOnLine series hosted on ScienceDirect (http://www.sciencedirect.com). To this end, the author(s) must confer the copyright to IFAC when they submit the final version of the paper through the paper submission process. The author(s) retain the right to use a copy of the paper for personal use, internal institutional use at the author(s)’ institution, or scholarly posting at an open web site operated by the author(s) or their institution, limited to noncommercial use. Any other use of the paper requires approval by IFAC.
