IMPORTANT DATES

PAPERS SUBMISSION

Full papers should be submitted using the EasyChair online submission system available at http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icstc2010.

The papers will be reviewed by the program committee, and the corresponding author of each paper will be notified of the result by e-mail. All materials must be written in English, and a paper should be submitted only if you intend to present the paper at the conference.

All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, provided that one author has paid the registration fees and that the final paper is produced in due time and following the publication instructions. The participants must submit the full version of their work, following IEEE Conference Submission Standards. Maximum six pages in double column A4-paper format are allowed. Authors may upload longer manuscript up to a maximum of eight pages, but each supplementary page will be charged with a 50 Euro fee.

SPECIAL SESSIONS

Proposal for INVITED SESSIONS by the scope of the workshop are welcome.
People interested in organizing a SESSION should notify their intention to Vladimir Rasvan at the address given below (please see CONTACTS).

The corresponding proposal for INVITED SESSION should contain the title of the session, a list of five (5) or six (6) papers, together with an extended summary (2000 words) of each paper.

Proposal should be sent by April 15th, 2010. Notification of acceptance will be communicated by June 30th, 2010, and the procedure will be similar to the regular papers.

The final camera ready manuscript and registration payment of at least one of the authors are due by July 15th, 2010.

CONFERENCE FEES
  •  Early registrations fees (before September 1st, 2010): 200 Euro;
  •  Late registrations fees (after September 1st, 2010): 250 Euro;
  •  Early student registration fees (before September 1st, 2010): 150 Euro;
  •  Late student registration fees (after September 1st, 2010): 180 Euro.
  •  Accompanying person fee: 120 Euro. The fee includes all lunches and social events of the conference. The fee can be paid directly at conference site.

Regular, Program Committee and Special Sessions registration fee includes:

  • Proceedings
  • Entry to all Scientific Meetings
  • Coffee Breaks
  • Lunches
  • Social events

PUBLICATION AND COPYRIGHT

The material submitted for presentation must be original, not published or being considered elsewhere. The presented papers will be further screened for possible publication in :

  • Journal of Control Engineering and Applied Informatics (ISI indexed)
  • Revue Roumaine des Sciences Techniques - Serie Electrotechnique et Energetique (ISI indexed)
  • Annals of the University of Craiova, Series: Automation, Computers, Electronics and Mechatronics
  • Buletinul Institutului Politehnic din Iasi, Automatic Control and Computer Science Section
  • The Annals of "Dunarea de Jos", University of Galati, Fascicle III, Electrotechnics, Electronics, Automatic Control, Informatics

As a part of the procedure, authors of accepted papers must send us a signed Copyright Form for each paper. Without this form, we cannot publish your article.

POSTERS

The size of posters for the conference are recommended to respect the A0 paper format. The size of panels on which the posters will be presented to the public is 140 cm by 110 cm.
